Every single head coach hired away to coach at East Texas Boys School has hurt their careers, results wise.

Jesus Christ, these numbers make it look like Kevin Sumlin (with the help of Johnny Cokehead) was doing the impossible at aTm: nearly maintaining his level of coaching performance.

Even probably the greatest head football coach of all time and Sherrill (probably the greatest cheater of all time) couldn't prevent a 7.5-10.6% reduction in wins while at Tamu. A guy who took an NFL team to the playoffs in 5 of 7 seasons couldn't sustain his success with the Faggies.

And don't try to pull the "it is just harder to win in College Station" card. Most of these guys came from other places where it wasn't easy to win.

Fisher only has a sample size of one year at A&M. The ruling by the OP is overturned.

You also didn't show Dennis Franchione's Texas State numbers or Jackie Sherrill's Mississippi State numbers.

Epic fail on your part.

That one year is consistent with several other instances.

Read the OP. I am talking about success prior to aTm. I can't help Tamu transformed a guy who took the Packers to the playoffs 5/7 years into a guy who went 4-18 as a high school coach in Massachusetts.

To be honest, I think Sherrill's numbers in Starkghanistan are successful (by MSU standards). He's the #2 in all time wins at State.

Not as bad as Aggie's head coaching hires.

You do know Mike Sherman is most famously known for "4th and 26" while the head coach of Green Bay, right?

Jimbo had a 78.3 winning percentage at Free Shoes.

To have a season as good as or better than his FSU average at Tamu, Jimbo will have to win at least 10 games.

Clemson, Alabama, Georgia. There's 3 Ls.
Texas State, Lamar, UTSA. There's 3 Ws.

Where in the rest of your schedule is Jimbo picking up 7 wins?

So you traded a guy who had a 1 play defensive meltdown in the NFL for a guy who had a 1 quarter defensive meltdown in college.

I think both are impressive in their own right.

Not a fair comparison, his time in college station drove him to alcoholism. Your school literally gave the man a disorder. He deserves our support, not vitriol.

Faggie has never beaten the Barn at the World's Largest Outdoor Pride Gathering. That trend isn't changing in 2019.

I agree with you about State, Arky, and Ol' Most.

Skirilina is a toss up, but I'll give the edge to the Faggies since Muschamp will have already imploded by that point in the season.

Tamu is 7-4 going into their Super Bowl.

I’ve been saying it for a long time, the culture is just all wrong over there. Too much weird and way too pretentious.

So since we both agree Jimbo isn't getting 10 wins this year, he'll have multiple years at A&M below his F$U average.

The trend will continue.

Thank you for proving my point.
