I could care one way or the other but this was on Bill Vickery's show out of LR this am.
While he is a douche no doubt, he knows and is friends with a lot of people in the know. He usually will not report rumors unless he has a good source.

Same here. We have been hearing about these stupid things since last November and excuses keep being made about why they aren't available yet. I kinda thought they might exist at first, but at this point I think it's just Bill Bell and John Bond trying to angle for a payday.

At that time the general consensus was that Sneed was going to stay for his senior year, Stanley was the heir apparent and Mackey (First team JuCo All-American) was next in line after that. At that time Masoli was still part of the Oregon football team. With 4 Scholarship QB's going to be on the roster in the fall, no we weren't going after Cam. Dyer is a completely different story though. Check your facts before you try talking about what Nutt was trying to do.

Cam Newton and Masoli were on the market on the same time broseph. When Snead decided he was going to the draft Nutt shite his pants trying to find another QB. Apparently Stanley wasn't the heir apparent or he wouldn't have went after Masoli so hard. Why is that so fricking hard to understand?

I am just saying what they said do not shot the messenger. I could care one way or the other. I have heard Gus recruited players in high school so why would that too hard to believe.
I will tell you that I believe a YES MAN type coach who was 5-19 at freaking Iowa State can not come into the SEC and win a NCAA National Championship in two seasons without some type of shady stuff going on.

I don't understand how people miss the fact that things take time with the NCAA. Reggie Bush drove around in a Range Rover, went to Hollywood parties and his parents had a $500,000 home in north San Diego. Cam drives a scooter, his mom and dad live in the ghetto and people expect to just find the money within a month? Get real, if Auburn gets hammered it won't be for years.

The reason the rest of the country hates us is because it would appear some schools would do anything to win a championship and some schools appear to thumb their noses at the authorities. This was very evident when so many people from other SEC schools were pulling for AU to win the BCSNCG, stating it didn't matter if they cheated, keep the titles and the money, in the SEC. I, personally, would love to see Slive leave disgraced and a wholesale cleaning done of the SEC programs.
