Again - per the reports on Wednesday and Thursday Gainesville was right in the range of the path.

That's why the UF admin was adamant on playing on Saturday, right? That's also why they came out Friday morning and said they were positive the game was going to be played, in Gainesville, on Saturday, right?

The narratives are changing each hour.

I should probably post for the 4th time that Florida did a terrible/nefarious job in their handling of the ball-game, but that would just look like I didn't think people were capable of reading an entire post and logically thinking it through.

Boca Raton and Miami weren't ever in the path of the Hurricane and had nothing to do with it. Using them as examples of something in Gainesville for Matthew is like saying something in Athens happening shows that something in Statesboro should have happened. They aren't anywhere near each other and weren't in relation to the storm.

And, to reiterate for the 57th time, Florida's handling of the postponement was awful and possibly fraudulently nefarious. They clearly had no interest in finding a solution. It was pathetic.

Maybe, just maybe, you should leave it at this next time rather than trying to rile up LSU fans with additional bullshite.

Just a thought.

If someone is going to post about the Hurricane for the 457th time then they should look at a map first to make sure the hurricane post at least makes sense. I apologize if that is somehow provoking the poor, battered LSU fanbase to mass rage.

All day Wednesday and Thursday LSU fans on this site were saying the game wasn't going to be played, and there were hundreds of threads created calling us out and trying to troll.

Now, you all get the deal with the shite storm blowing back in your faces. So fricking deal with it and stop bitching.

You all? What the fvck does that even mean?

Sorry, some people were trolling the mass horde of LSU fans, so now everyone has to sit back and deal with the mass horde posting diarrhea that doesn't even make sense, and if you comment on it then STOP RILING THEM UP (even if you add in 10 caveats that the overall decision making process by Florida was a farce).

Seriously, that's ridiculous RB.

Yes they have families in Central Florida but it's easier to stay focused when you're out West.

The purpose of the article was to insinuate LSU fans were insensitive to the seriousness of the storm, to the people of Florida, to the Florida players and their families.

But the writer of the article is an idiot. What we find pathetic is that the Florida AD and Coach used a possible natural disaster to recoil in fear, not from the storm, but from a football game, because they were decimated with injuries on the DL, and had a gimpy QB.

Didn't wanna play Sat., fine, postpone until Sunday or Monday (if conditions improve significantly).

But they were not about to do that because they used the storm to run from a game, in order to steal a week during the season to heal up.

I didn't see anyone complaining when all those threads were being made Wednesday and Thursday. So, yes, fricking deal with it or get off the site.

Doesn't seem that complicated.

Whining and bitching isn't dealing with it.

Saying something isn't right is whining and bitching?

This is just weird, I disagreed with the premise of the post and you jumped in to defend LSU Hurricane honor. I get it, you are so mad at the Florida AD screwing LSU over that you don't want anyone posting anything that might not fully support that believe (and I agree with it). That's fine.

Gainesville was right in the thick of it and in the sphere of the area in Florida that was hit the hardest (effecting law enforcement, families, logistics, etc). These sorts of posts are asinine.

No Gainesville was NOT right in the thick of it...forcast was for tropical storm winds and rain at worst. please try to get your facts straight.
