Why UGA will likely win the SEC (and Natty)

1. Offensive play calling
The truth is, no one can be fully prepared for the aggressive play calling and offensive philosophy of Kirby Smart and James Coley. From our 2 yard runs up the middle on 1st and 2nd down, to our 5 yard curl routes, and lastly our 20 yard pass that Fromm overthrows, the defense is always guessing. At UGA, we have no need for modern offense or the 5 star WRs on our roster. When you have WRs like Matt Landers and Tyler Simmons, sophisticated route running is not necessary. As a matter of fact, all we need are throws to the sidelines and runs up the middle. No, sweeps, reverses, or anything creative is allowed.

2. Coaching
We have Kirby Smart and all he wants to do is eat. This is a man who can adapt to any situation, especially when the game is on the line. I've never seen a coach with better clock management skills in the clutch since Les Miles. Kirby always makes great in game adjustments (especially on offense) and takes responsibility for the decisions he makes. With him at the helm I don't see how we can lose.


The SEC is on notice. May God have mercy on the team from the West that shows up in Atlanta in December.
