I don't hate him. I think he is a standup guy and a great role model !! I think the problem comes from the media and the way they have made him out to be THE GREATEST college football of all time.
The kid is good, even great, but I wouldn't say the greatest of all time !! He's a good leader, but in all honesty his #'s this season are lacking. Not taking anything away from him, but he has been hyped beyond belief
I heard a guy on Finebaum today, he was a Florida commentator, and even he said he is glad Tebow will be gone next year so that the FOCUS can get back to The University of Florida.....instead of Tebow

How could anyone hate Tebow. He has been a good example to kids about Sportsmanlike etc.
He's been a Winner and represented The SEC greatly.
It's just time for a change of the guard that's basically it. He stands between us and other SEC teams from getting to The NC.

This is dumb even for this board, he gets on Alabama fans nerves for the same reason he gets on a lot of SEC fans nerves, the constant hype, the Verne cuddles, etc. Its not really his fault but Alabama fans are no different than other SEC fans as far as this goes.

Plus, I do put a some blame on him for the media hype. I admire the mission trips and visits to prisons but when he brings an ESPN camera crew with him, it reeks of self-promotion.

Tebpow is a fine young man. Not his fault that the media has over hyped him. Hell, look at what is going on with Tiger right now!! Piss on the media!!! I wish this young man all the best, he has been a great role model, but as a dire hard LSU fan, I will be happy that we don't have to compete against him next year. I will be curious to see how UM does w/o him and actually see what kind of coach he really is. I am a "old school" kind of guy, usually pull for any SEC West team in the SECCG, will pull for SEC schools in all of the bowls ( and still will ), but I am breaking tradition this year on the SECCG and pulling for Fla. Not because of Tebow, but because of Saban, the obnoxious Alabamaa fans that all of sudden, think they are the shite again. Yes, Ala has a storied past, but ain't done shite lately and as far as the last decade is concerned, LSU and Fla are still the "shite" in the SEC. GUMPS- you still gotta couple of more to catch up before you knock us off. The Bear has only been dead for 26 yrs, can't live off of him forever.
