Auburn winning the NC in 2010 affected Alabama's collective psyche. In many Alabama fans' minds Auburn was NEVER supposed to win another national championship. Of course, they never liked us before but the NC ratcheted things up a few notches.

What in the hell does Alabama have to do with anything? I see way more fans of random schools taking delight in all of this stuff right now than Bama fans, at least on this board. Quite always blaming Bama for your problems. Talk about damaged psyche...

Do you really want one of them(3) schools to get the death penalty?

I don't want any SEC team to get in trouble.

While Auburn is dirty, they are also the slickest sons of bitches in the game.

Someone somewhere is laughing his arse off.

Media got egg all over their face after the Cam witch hunt.

Media don't like no egg on their face so they will not stop until they are vindicated.

Media keep digging deeper hole.

Auburn wins.

Considering it's been two decades since AU has been on probation, the whole "cheating" stance just sounds like sour grapes.

i am trying to do just this. both auburn and a&m got cheating so much in the previous 30 or so years that i have labeled them both as "black" programs. it seemed like every time either had a real good run it turned out they cheated to get there. so it is natural for many of us old timers to simply write off any success of either program as a result of cheating. i hope that will change but please understand that decades of getting caught cheating doesnt just disappear in the minds of those of us that lived it. believe me, if it comes out that the aggies are cheating with jff's college career and are buying players in tejas, etc i will not be surprised in the least. it will simply continue to reinforce my opinion they are a rogue program and their alumni will fork up much cash to have a winning program. once a reputation is established it takes a long, long time to change. i seriously thought auburn had indeed changed until the cam newton thing came up. admittedly, the evidence was all circumstantial and i should give them the benefit of the doubt and it is fair and just to do so BUT, their past and their position in college football (second to the a-holes in tuscaloosa) leads me to DEEP DOWN, doubt their innocence. sorry. i am just being honest. i very much like auburn, having had 2 nephews graduating there and hating bama so bad, but it is what it is.

Auburn has 7 majors. UGA has 6. Does that one less infraction make you feel that much better about your program?

I know. We cheat and don't get caught. Bla bla bla

I think the hate comes from the fact that they bought a quarterback and won the naty. Were they caught? No. Were they guilty? Well OJ got off as well. Carma's a bitch.

True. It's not like sanctions or penalties could do too much harm to that athletic program. Auburn somehow found a way to punish themselves much worse than the NCAA could.
