We won 11 games and beat OU with Mike Sherman’s with 3 stars. When has your school put 5 3 stars in the league the first 5 rounds? That lead to more blue chippers bc Johnny was so famous. Hiring coaches with reputation as good recruiters pushed us further in rough years too. You have no idea how our team was built other preaching that the SEC was the only reason you were out recruited and A&M was bad in the Big 12 so that has to be the reason. All that to make yourselves feel better because you were winning less games than us the past decade, when you had Top 5 recruiting classes in a conference with a huge blue chip disparity vs your opponents.
And you see this manifested here with people arguing the game is won on paper. You understand why we call LSU the paper tigers after they lose a conference game. All that talent and you drop one to someone you though sucked using transitive property. It’s why we get crap, Sooner and horn just say the reason is always the Big 12.
The rest of the gang is making fun of us for consistently finding a way to drop games we should on paper.

I’ll be wearing my T hat but Norman is a sneaky tough place to play (for those unfamiliar with the atmosphere) and it will be rocking. It sounds like the crowd is on top of you the stands are so steep there. And OUs defense is one of their better ones lately.
