I am going to Ole Miss in the fall, wish I wasn't, but I am. I've grown up on LSU's campus and Ole Miss falls short in every category. The atmosphere at LSU on a fall afternoon to early the next morning is something that exists only in Baton Rouge. Period. Whether it's food, drinks, drunks, or tailgating as a whole; you will not find a better place than Death Valley. Funny how the same "obnoxious coon asses" who throw/start shite will ALWAYS give you the shirt off of their back (even though it may be soaked in sweat and beer) and let you party at their tailgate like they've known you for years. Without a doubt, my LSU flag will wave behind my truck in Oxford. Other than LSU football, the Southern Belles at Ole Miss are God's greatest creation.

You would figure most Ole Miss fans would be intelligent enough to realize that not everyone in Louisiana is a cajun/coonass.
And since you want to talk about educational accomplishments despite the fact that LSU has higher admissions standards, here are mine. Undergraduate from LSU 2003, J.D. 2007, LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from The George Washington University Law School.
So, now tell us your superior academic accomplishments since you seem to think you are academically superior to everyone from LSU on this board.
And since you want to talk about educational accomplishments despite the fact that LSU has higher admissions standards, here are mine. Undergraduate from LSU 2003, J.D. 2007, LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from The George Washington University Law School.

I know that this is the rant, but personally I find all this Ole Miss abuse uncalled for and rather offensive. It's like picking on a retarded kid to make yourself feel better. It's just not right.

I went and loved it. Still an LSU fan, came back for most games, and still fricking loved Ole Miss for college. Oxford is 100x the college town Baton Rouge is. MUCH better music scene, about 10 more college bars for a town 1/20th the size, and better looking women. This coming from a Baton Rouge native posting from BR as we speak. Oxford has a damn solid restaurant scene as well. All my friends from Baton Rouge that come stay with me and aren't herded into LSU groups of fans on the square will corroborate everything I have said. They love visiting, even on non-game weekends and always leave hurting from the party.
that being said
ETA: I am not getting into an argument over the OP as it was probably written by a high schooler with too much time on their hands. Also, people who call Ole Miss students dumb rednecks are just grouping them with the state of Mississippi. It is far from that there.
ETA again: I do however, enjoy LSU tailgating more. The Grove is fun if you have a tent with your friends, but it's just not the party LSU fans have.
