Who came up with this dumb schedule? I assume it was to benefit Alabama in some way

Blame the bowl games. They insisted on being a part of the playoff but refused to move off new year’s.
This would be solved if we let the 1-4 seeds host quarterfinals on campus and then just used bowls for the semis, but bowl people would have a conniption.

You wouldn’t know this, because you never play in big games, especially the Rose or Sugar, but they are never the day after Christmas. Always at New Year’s

Just looked at the whole schedule and ho Lee shite, that’s dumb.
The final isn’t played until Monday, January 19th, ~6 months after the first game, and 1 to 2 weeks after the start of the semester for most schools.
Wonder if they can get a transfer to play in the final.

The Rose and Sugar should be the semi-finals on January1.
Championship game should be on January 8th-10th
