He’s everything Anthony Richardson isn’t…shows that talent won’t win football games and that hard work won’t get you an NFL contract.

Yeah, missing a couple of woman-beating charges makes him unattractive to half the NFL clubs.

I think he will be a solid backup QB in the NFL, if that is what he wants. We'll see. He probably won't start for anybody, but like you said, he keeps proving people wrong, so who knows?

He'll need to mature a bit first and make better decisions. (Referring to his Texas debacle)

You know those stats were from 2017, right? I mean, it probably hasn't changed a whole lot, but an article from 6 years ago?

He’s like 30. Remember when Brandon Weeden balled out in college and then sucked in the NFL? Same idea

Because he’s short, with an average arms, and not athletic enough to overcome either.

He was just athletic enough to overcome the Vols.

He didn’t play defense slick. I get UGA fans are clueless when it comes to QB play and what they do, God knows it’s been awhile since y’all had a decent one, but QBs don’t rush the passer.

After owning them in 2020 and 2021, He destroyed them in one half in 2022, and then we coasted to victory in the rain.

Smokey-one can’t wrap his head around how good the UGA O was before the rain came.

good thing he only throws with one arm and he's more athletic than Hooker

I'm glad you noticed that. We had to outscore that prolific, once in a lifetime offense the VOLS had, though, didn't we?

I will repeat, then. He threw for 4,000 yards and a 68.3% completion percentage. I may be clueless, but that sounds pretty good to me. I mean, he was invited to New York for the Heisman ceremony, was he not?

Again, I am proud you got that right. Congrats?

I'm not sure he can wrap his head around a QB that throws for 4,000 yards.
Stetson Bennett would be the #4 most prolific passer in Vol history had he played for them right behind:
Peyton Manning
Casey Clausen
Eric Ainge

His passing totals from last year alone would put him #1 in Vols history for passing yards in a single season.
Yep. Peyton Manning's top passing year he threw for 3,819 yards. That would be 300 yards fewer than Stetson bennett, but Smokeyone thinks we don't know what a good QB is.

ETA
Just to clarify....the three UT QBs with more career yards than Bennett played 4 years. I took Bennett's 4 years at Georgia, one of which he threw for 260 yards on 27 attempts.

OOF.
