Trent is the only rb who moves the pile with 5 players on his back.
LSU will have a Heisman if H Badger can grow up .

In nearly EVERY case like this (Best Coach, recruiting Class, Team, Player, etc), the top names are going to be very close and arguable.

It is uncommon for there to be a huge chasm between any list of 1,2,3.

Ball is great
Richardson is great

Is that why they shut him down?

Seriously, Dyer has been a manchild this season, considering his OLINE. If we would've still had our line from last year, then wow... It would be a tight race.

Ware would have Trent's # if we ran him as much as ya'll run TR.

I hope this is a flame, TR is one of the hardest runners I have ever seen in my life.

You've got to give credit where credit is due.

No, Ware's ypc isn't exactly great... He would have to have 400 carries

I would have the same numbers if I were T-Rich, M-Ball, or S-Ware...

Wisconsin's back has much better numbers.
Do you really think that Wisc back would get those numbers in the SEC?

We as fans always argue the defense in the SEC is superior then all other conferences (which has been proven over and over), and when talking heads offer praise to a SEC RB for what he accomplished against those D's, other fans claim there were better RB's due to their stats. So?

Can't have it both ways and must realize getting over 1500 yds rushing in the SEC can outrank better stats elsewhere.

Michael Dyer deserves better. Put him on Alabama and Trent Richardson on Auburn, and the Heisman race would be far different.

Bama didn't like hearing that earlier this week, and will not like to hear it now, but it is true.

Spencer Ware 168 687 4.1 YPC

Trent Richardson 263 1583 6.0 YPC

So, no he wouldn't.

The Heisman isn't given to a player based on what they might do in the NFL

Nor is it given based on what they might do on another team. At least 5 different players have had better seasons than Trent. If he wins, it is all bullshite.
