At this point, I don't think we can leave Atlanta, without risk of losing it to the ACC.
Of course I think New Orleans is the best big event in the country, but leave the SECCG in Atlanta. I would be in favor of the baseball tourney rotating between Hoover, Memphis, Metairie, and maybe even Gwinnett County to give closer trips to the USC fans some times.

Teams/fans will fly anyway.
Why does it have to be "centrally located?"

Jax brings out the bad decisions in everybody.

Then fly to Atlanta. Cheap flights and direct from pretty much everywhere.

Realistically, it can't be centrally located, however, it could rotate.
If there's that much risk of the SEC losing Atlanta, then it's not worth it.

Only people that have to fly to Atlanta are Aggies and we don't have to worry about them making it often. I guess Missouri too but same thing. Besides that it's a reasonable drive for every other school. I've made it from Atlanta to NO in a day and it wasn't that bad, LSU fans just like to complain.

The Alamodome/San Antonio--while not technically an NFL stadium/city--is another great option.

Oh please.......Georgia fans would still be bitching if the 2011 SEC Championship were held in New Orleans.
