That new stadium in Gwinnett, GA is pretty awesome too.

Wont happen due to the NAACP Flag Boycott in our state but the new Greenville Drive stadium is a beautiful facility and provided a great environment for the Carolina-Clemson rivalry game...Sadly, SC would be a long way to travel for LSU, Arky, and Miss schools.

Anywhere, other than Little Rock, is a long travel for the Hogs.

If Greenville has the balls to do it they can. I remember Myrtle Beach was going to do it for the ACC tournament but backed out. But I don't think the NCAA could prevent the SEC tourny from being in SC.

the fact that ticket sales are through the roof for the baseball tourny, even when Alabama and Auburn are not there. I use to volunteer when I was in high school and the fan bases outside the state who park rv's in the lot always seemed to have a lot of fun.

Birmingham/Hoover is just boring. Not much to do there in my opinion.

Has anybody mentioned having it in Pearl, MS at the Trustmark Park?

27-15 ain't great, but we've been fairly competitive in Gaspard's first season. The mid-season slump hurt bad.

I know you laugh, but it's a good ballpark. The downfall is, of course, there ain't shite else to do in Pearl aside from shop at Bass Pro Shops.

It's definitely nicer than the Met and in just as much proximity to anything interesting.

I will say though, of all the suggestions mentioned, Autozone wins hands down. Memphis BBQ is the world's best and Beale Street is more fun than anything the Birmingham area has to offer.

Absolutely. I'd love it if they moved it to Gwinnett Stadium, for selfish reasons.

I think the biggest reason you will see little opposition is the fact that it has not been a home field advantage for anyone.

If Alabama were more competitive, I'm sure it would be a greater topic of discussion.

Just imagine if the SECCG in football were held in the state of Alabama.

Bama will come on strong down the stretch. They usually do.

I can't wait for A&M and UT to join the SEC. We'll get some stuff shifted west.

What exactly is "down the stretch"?

I was referring to the last 20+ years.

I'd love to see it at Autozone.

It's without question one of the nicest AAA parks in the country.
