They are both clowns and then Finebaum called Schlaback the best investigative journalist in the nation. Remember his reporting on Cam Newton ? He still has egg on his face over it and he resents it.
I watched that segment. I thought they were very fair considering the circumstances.

I'm fine. I wanted Huge Freeze from day one. I think this puts AU one stop closer to that happening. I just hate it when the voice of the SEC is so fricked up, he can not call out misinformation. How many BOT meetings have Finebaum or MS ever attended in their lives ?

Finebaum may be a jerk but nothing he has said today about AUs latest scandalous implosion is wrong. I’m fact he seems to be being very careful about what he says. Sure gets uncomfortable every time someone starts approaching the subject of the alleged affair.

Everything he said was wrong.
1. Claimed Greene wasn't really the AD, but failed to recognize that he solely hired Harsin.
2. AU fired Leach because of Gus's contract. AU fired Leach because he spent millions of dollars on the Presidents Mansion, pissed off the money people who were trying increase AUs endowment, fired Jay Jacobs and wanted to fire Bruce Pearl, hired Greene. Plus his past at Iowa St and his personal use of University aircraft became clearer.
3. The same Booster who were in charge at AU when Dye was coach are still around. Jimmy Rane is the only constant from those years, and he wasn't the person pushing Steele.
4. Gouge came back because AU needed someone to fill the gap until they find a permanent replacement. They wanted to find someone who could raise money.
5. AU almost lost their accreditation over boosters. They were never closed to losing it and it was just for show by SACS to appease the Faulty, who were butthurt over the amount of money going into the AD.

Finebaum is an idiot who just tries to appease certain fanbases. His major sources are at the SEC Offices and anything he puts out is sensitive to their wants. He sold his soul to syndication with the help of some people from Birmingham and he has spent the rest of his career paying them back.
