I have thought the same thing. When you look at A&M and Auburn they had similar years and Auburn is getting loads more hype than A&M as well. I would assume people don't respect Sumlin's lack of commitment to controlling the game via the run. But it is interesting.
A&M and Auburn had identical records last year, and we beat yall on the road. A&M had a better record than Arkansas last year, and we beat them at a nuetral site. And yet both those schools are getting far more hype.
But there is more to it than that. We got blown out by Bama. Our games against ole miss and MSU really weren't that close. We barely beat yall and Arky. We looked poor against LM.
I think we're going to be better than people think, but I understand why we're being overlooked.

We will never be rivals, stop trying so hard in everything you do

He's just pointing out that you're picking on someone who's bigger then you.

In fact, A&M won two or fewer conference games THREE TIMES between 1970-2014.
The last time A&M lost more than 7 games was 2008.
The last time UT lost more than 7 games was NEVER.

Tennessee has a returning starter who is widely regarded as one of the best talents at the position. Though A&M returns Allen, he's thrown less than 200 passes in his career--though he really looked good once he was inserted as full time starter.
In reality though, Butch Jones' gimmicks and hype machine have been paying dividends, but Lil' Jon music in the stadium and coordinating t-shirt colors with stadium seating will only go so far once fall starts. A&M might not finish with a better record than the Vols, but I'd pick them if the two were to play head to head.

Won't happen this year even if UT wins the East.
aTm would have to win the West and they can't do it with a Heisman winner. They sure can't do it with that B-team QB they have at now.

You lost 7 games in 5 of the last 7 years. The 2 years you didn't lose 7 you lost 6. That's 47 losses in 7 years.

They finished with the same SEC record as yall last season.
That's like saying 10 wins in the AAC is the same as 10 wins in the SEC. Get that weak lopsided shite out of here.
UT beat Vandy, USCe, and UK. The 3 worst teams in the conference.
A&M at least beat Ark, Aurburn, & USCe. 2/3 better than any win UT has had in 7 years.

FYI...7 is not "more than 7"...7 is equal to 7
Here are a couple of examples of numbers that are more than 7...
8 is more than 7 (the number of losses aTm had in 2008, 2003 & 1949);
9 is more than 7 (the number of losses aTm had in 1964, 1954 & 1948)

Tennessee fans are boring. They need to step things up before they start claiming offseason championships

aTm will NEVER be able to claim a championship, off-season or otherwise.

Our offseason championship after 2012 season was about as lopsided as it gets. Even our players and AD started participating when one broke a bunch of NCAA rules and our AD covered it up
