Is Deboer already processing his staff for more elite guys? Just don't see why Grubb would make that kind of leap if everything in Tuscaloosa is gonna be A okay

He hasn’t.
But who the hell doesn’t take a promotion if it’s offered?

Despite your wishing it to happen, he is still out recruiting as of this week.

On campus today. Junior Day hosting tons of prospects.

Not a denial or confirmation but just info on the situation:
From CBS sports

The Crimson Tide have yet to announce Grubb's hire, but this report does note that he has been on the road in recent days recruiting for the program. Still, if the NFL truly comes calling with an offer to be the OC in Seattle, that could be too tempting of an offer to turn down.
Grubb just joined Alabama's staff last month under new head coach Kalen DeBoer, whom he followed from Washington. The 47-year-old said he wanted to succeed DeBoer as the next head coach of the Huskies, but the job ultimately went to Jedd Fisch out of Arizona.

His agent is helping him free up some negotiation time

They’ve yet to announce any hire except DeBoer’s, FWIW.

Alabama hasn’t announced anyone’s hire outside of DeBoer.

Why have Brian Kelly's last 2 OCs preferred Notre Dame to Baton Rouge? Once is a choice. Twice is a problem.

gotta lie to the players and let them know the program is totally stable. nice

Didn’t LSU just lose an OC to a lateral move?

Dunno where these people are getting their info. At any rate, Bama is still going to be good whether or not Grubb gets on as OC or not.

Weird way to admit you've never been offered a new job.

Don't deflect. I'm asking why Grubb would come straight down to Bama and then pack up and leave.

I dunno, he probably hasn't even moved his family (if he has any) from Seattle yet.

I’m asking, when did he do that?
You haven’t answered that question for some reason.

Also, that's really the deal. Grubb is recruiting kids for Junior Day at UA right now. He hasn't left yet. Still might but not yet.
