Why is Ole Miss Bama the CBS game?

Seems there is an obvious choice this week and it's not chosen.

Auburn State will be more entertaining

Same reason that OSU@ Neb is the host for game day, there's not many games to choose from.

Because it's about ratings and the number of people watching on TV. Sorry but people either love or hate Bama (or whoever the top dynasty is at the time) and will tune in hoping for a loss or a win. It has nothing to do with Ole Miss.

Get it right. It's the University of Aubum.

i'm sure they want to attract as many viewers as possible. who will people tune in to see..a team with 3-4 possible 1st round draft picks and heisman favorite on offense? or Bo Nix vs whoever the frick Miss states QB is.. Kellen fricking Mond vs whoever the frick Arkansas qb is? Kentucky vs South Carolina where nobody would watch? easy decision

Auburn and MSU has a chance to be competitive. The Ole Miss Bama game has no more chance than Bama vs. Montana.

No one in their right mind is tuning into that game thinking a hopeful loss may come to fruition. This isn't cheating Freeze (wife and NCAA rules) team any more.

Exactly. "Chance to be competitive" is the standard this week

Alabama is not just the most-watched team in the SEC, but the country. Bama is a huge ratings draw.
Last year Alabama vs. Arkansas State had bigger ratings than many SEC vs SEC games, e.g. A&M vs Arky.
So that's why Alabama usually is the 1st pick every week, ie CBS.

Because Gary Danielson would go into a coma without sucking Alabama's dick for two consecutive weeks.

"Get it right. It's the University of Aubum". Seeing how this is happing now "Alabama had an undergraduate enrollment of around 33,000 last fall. More than 60 percent came from out-of-state." Looks like Auburn is now THE University of ALABAMA. :)

Auburn - TAMU CBS. Auburn -Florida will be CBS. If they had done Auburn -MSU that would be three weeks in a row. Also Auburn vs LSU, UGA and Bama Are all possible CBS games.

Believe me, Bama fans would LOVE a 6pm kick. I am still cooked from Saturday’s game
