Okay. But if it is not something special to play with a "short roster", why didn't Texas A&M do it?
I have no problem with A&M's decision and I don't like the flack you guys are taking for that decision. It is what it is. But, you have to turn your question around on yourself, don't you? Either A&M could play or they couldn't. LSU is playing while having fewer players available than A&M. By any measure you have to give them credit.
I read all your reasons they are playing short....and that is immaterial. The point is they are short, and are still playing.

I personally love that they're playing, even if they come out and get beat...This is a huge opportunity for some walk ons, who have busted their asses all year, possibly 3-5 years, and finally might see the field for the first time, in a bowl game no less. College football is supposed to be about the kids after all...but that's changed over the years.
