I'll say it again:
Why does everyone in Louisiana approach football games with the mindset of a thirteen year old cheerleaders? Why is the vast majority of your "game breakdown" a bunch of rah rah quips about how bad somebody wants to win or what color shirt someone is wearing?

For you guys having trouble keeping up, I'll say this again, although I'm not sure there's any way I can dumb it down any more than I already have:
We're not discussing crazy, newsworthy actions of individual fans of ANY team. We're discussing the overall mindset of the population of the entire state of Louisiana.
Here's some examples:
News - The fifth polar bear in as many years has been spotted wandering the streets of Boise Idaho.
That's pretty crazy, right? But, not what we're discussing.
Actual topic - Why is the North Pole full of polar bears?
It's not breaking news, but it's a fact we're trying to research. This is what we're talking about. Why does your entire population act like a bunch of emotional, 13 year old cheerleaders?
We're not discussing crazy, newsworthy actions of individual fans of ANY team. We're discussing the overall mindset of the population of the entire state of Louisiana.

Because Louisianians love life, man. We get enjoyment out of everything we do. While we love the shite out of our football team, our happiness is not 100% derived from the success of our football program. It’s all you guys have in your shitty state. Your entire sense of self worth is dependent upon the success or failure of a group of college kids 4 months out of the year. Without it, you are nothing.
So, yeah, we will have fun with our love for our Tigers. We will get pissed when we lose. We will get supreme satisfaction out of talking smack to opponents. But at the end of the day, win or lose, we will enjoy our lives.
You should be envious of such “emotion”. I’ll take it any day over you sister-humping, snaggle-toothed bunch of Saban groupies. And last I heard, we don’t have fans killing each other over football or poisoning opponents trees. Yep, the picture of decorum there. Not emotional at all.

You typed some words, but they don't mean anything. I don't want your opinion on whether or not it's good to act like a 13 year old girl. I'm researching what it is that makes you do it. "Getting enjoyment out of everything you do" and pretending normal people don't live happy, less insane lives, is not an answer.

You've provided nothing but anecdotal evidence so far. You have yet to prove that this certain population is "more emotional" or "acts like teenage girls". I could point to a million threads on Tidefans or the million times Saban has shown his arse to the media and ask "why are all Alabama folks such dumb assholes". It's a pointless circular argument.
