So the only people that see this disparity are the ones who hate Alabama? Sounds reliable

Why's this a surprise? 95% of Auburn fans don't know the words either. I don't blame them.

If they didn't know the song, I'm sure Auburn could have helped out with lyric songs or some other method.

Auburn SGA president sings Bama fight song every year, my buddy was SGA president and jsut spent a day or two memorizing it. Fight songs are made to be easy to remember

I'm not entirely sure you understand the meaning of "never".

The whole thing is dumb, including the trophy, end it all.

Play the game, one team wins, one team loses and then there is a 364 day wait for the next game. That is really all that matters IMO.

No one ever claimed that class extended to the fans. I mean...we're talking about people who rolled a tree the day Bryant died as well as people who poisoned said tree because of an opposing jersey being placed on Bryant's statue.

Hey Harve, I think that is a myth.

Oh now you done it, about to get into the relative quality of the "fanbase" (as if that actually means anything) argument for a few pages. Should be an interested ride in this one.

I don't blame him. He has to sing it almost every year. Plus it's such a great song. Much better than Auburn's for sure.

I was at the 2012 game in Tuscaloosa, and the Auburn SGA president not only didn't sing the song, but refused to even talk into the microphone.

Nick Saban just had the football team sing it. I don't remember anyone making it a big deal or giving a shite about it.

So I take it from all of the wailing and gnashing of teeth that when the barn SGA has to sing Yea Alabama they do it with enthusiasm and excitement?

And did I miss something or did you not win the damn football game and then blew out the BBall team and win the damn conference? Take your winnings and STFU!

Nerd. You are a fan base in the sec. You have a litany of losers and degenerate fans. Get over yourself. Its part of it. However, the weirdo grown ups in the stands jumping up and down boo'ing a student and going ape sh*t over that sec west title is more embarrassing.

Alright, so I just watched the video, and the Alabama SGA President basically did the exact same thing the Auburn one did in 2011.

She said nice things about both schools, handed over the mic, stood there and clapped. She probably should have at least attempted to lipsync, but other almost identical to 2011. Not nearly as big a deal as I thought it was.

Nobody rolled the tree when Bear died

I mean, given how much crying you all do over a non-existent event, I wish we had done that. But alas, it is false.

True. However we don't brag on ourselves and talk about "class." No fanbase in college sports pats itself on the back about "class" like the Gumps.

From an outsider perspective, Alabama looks like a sore loser in this scenario.

They can dole it out all day long. But they sure can’t take a piece of their own medicine.

Congrats Auburn. I for one would like to see AU join the East. Gators and Tigers are old rivals that lost our rivalry in the divisional split.

This has happened before several times over the years and neither side made a big deal about it.

You know why? Because it doesn’t matter.

Be a man and stop crying like a 7th grade girl about something that you only recently started paying attention to.
