I'm not going to say that it happened, but you have to admit that it does look suspicious.

If we are caught up in this as you say/think we are and we are as bad and have been for this long, then we would exceed only Ole Miss as being the dumbest bunch of cheaters on the planet. If you are going to cheat this big; win something.

Just go back and look at what Howland did at UCLA and who his assistant was and it’s painfully obvious what is going on. Of course it took the FBI to bring this stuff to light because the NCAA is still looking for the pay for play money in Oxford. The FBI kept the ncaa in the dark because they know how incompetent they are.

Thank you for the summary, Acting Director McCabe.

I get it. If it was my team I might be in denial too.

He suddenly skyrockets up the ranking to become a 5 star and much more valuable to any future shoe company. Then he decommits (from a Nike school) because he wants to be closer to to his ailing father in south Georgia. Then immediately commits to an Adidas school?

Again, Howland lost a PF who was committed to MSU. The kid's dad played at MSU and is on Howland's staff. A freaking committed legacy dropped MSU under the same circumstances (momma said this and that)

This just in: College Basketball is filthy

Thank you for reminding all State fans, Howland flip a 5-Star recruit from Arky.

They are still mad about it I see. Even though the 5-Star recruit dad graduated from State.

quote:

Perry was a four-star recruit during his junior year, but he’s recently been bumped up to a five-star prospect. He is currently the No. 17 recruit in the nation according to ESPN. Last year, he committed to play college basketball in his home state, at the University of Arkansas.

“I’m blessed to be a five-star,” Perry said. “It’s one thing I’ve been working towards. I always gotta play hard because there’s always going to be a target on my back. I’ve got to continue to work.”

After attending the Pangos All-American camp in Los Angeles, Perry flew to Italy to take part in the Adidas Euro Camp earlier this month. He performed well alongside some more American talent against players from other countries. Perry was the leading rebounder in the camp with 8.5 boards per game and was second in points per game with 15.

He’s now set to attend another camp in the Los Angeles area, the Adidas Nations Training Camp, with some of the teammates he had in Italy.

“You have to create chemistry really fast since you don’t really play with them,” Perry said. We had NBA and college coaches helping us out.

Guess what happened after the Italy trip from Adidas?

Yep! The kid had done nothing but rave about Arkansas and his future teammates, going so far as to say "Arkansas is my dream school, it's my Kentucky and Duke". Then a couple of Adidas trips later and it's DE-committ. But we are supposed to believe it was on the level. Sorry if you can't see why something doesn't smell right with it.You'll probably get away with it, but it doesn't pass the smell test. But I do agree with you that recruiting is filthy.

Just remember these connections.

So Seth Greenberg was on Mike & Mike this morning defending Pitino and others, and all I could do is laugh.

Greenberg is a former college basketball coach, most recently at VaTech. He now essentially works for Adidas.

Where have I heard of Jim Gatto before? Oh, he was arrested yesterday.....

Adidas in the house! The great Jim Gatto! #SethGHoldsCourt @Connor_Sports

Well before Perry decommited, word started getting out that Seth Greenberg was in his ear on the whole Europe trip. He was his coach.

Perry gets back, decommits, and immediately goes with an Adidas school.

Immediately after Perry commits to MSU, Greenberg is there for him:

@_R1bang_ trust yourself and your instinct. It's about you and what makes you happy.

So you not only believe that Arkansas has been wronged, you also believe your beat writers hyperbole?

The Hogs also have commitments from Arkansas Hawks 2019 point guard Justice Hill, 5-11, 160, of Little Rock Christian, and 2018 guard Isaiah Joe, 6-2, 160, of Fort Smith Northside.
Perry, who moved to Little Rock in the sixth grade and lived there until about three years ago, announced his decision on Twitter and said Arkansas was his equivalent to Kentucky, Kansas or Duke.
"Really when I say that, it’s because everyone has a dream of going to one of those schools," Perry said. "They all look at them being one of the best college teams and they have to go there. Basically, I’m just saying this is my place where I can be the most successful.”

Had no idea Hog fans would be so butthurt over a basketball commit

Is this bad enough to shoot Greenbergs horse, or just fly a banner behind a plane calling for Seth to be fired?
