It was pretty infuriating to give up a third and long conversion, then the camera cuts over to Durkin and he’s on the sideline looking like this:

Yep, Ol Smirkin Durkin.
Just gave up 40+ points in a loss? Smiling. Big third down conversion by the other team? Smiling.
I will say our defense did improve this year, he didn’t do a terrible job. But we still weren’t as good as we should have been with all the talent on the roster.
