I think it was more along the lines of within 1 year; signing a 10 year extension with Louisville, leaving that year to go to the Falcons, and then leaving the Falcons by having a 4 sentence explanation left in the locker room. The point is he left a note to explain his move, not that it didn’t make sense to leave the Falcons and go elsewhere.
It’s hilarious listening to all the Arkansas fans on here defend his move to Arkansas and then having him literally send their program into one of the worst tailspin’s in the history of college football. Arkansas use to be a decent middle-tier program who occasionally had 10 win seasons and competed for the West, and they are now one of the worst power 5 teams in the country.

Petrino did NOT "just have sex."
He hired his side piece for an athletic department job, for which she was marginally qualified, over a large pool of better candidates.
Job would have reported directly to Petrino, too.

Not defending BP just saying outside of georgia no one really cares who coaches or quit coaching the falcons anymore than anyone cares who's coaching the Timberwolves in basketball or some other nobody team

Saban didn't walk out the same way Petrino did. I live here and was a season ticket holder when he did. It was NOT well received.

Yeah, it’s the matter in which he did it. No one faults a coach getting out of a bad position. The Falcons were a shitshow. Leaving a professional organization by writing a letter and leaving it in the locker room is a chicken shite move by a POS. It’s not shocking at all what he ended up doing to Arkansas with his past behavior.

Dude really. Urban Meyer is no Saint, he covered up bad deeds of a serial killer. Yet, he is Miles above Petrino. (PUN intended) That’s really all you need to know.
He is a lying pos that no one in college football trust. He has a great football mind, but I don’t see how we could ever recruit since he has lied to so many players and coaches and is unwelcome in more places that Covid-19. Also he has lied repeatedly to every administration he ever worked for so I am not sure anyone would hire him.

Why would any real Cards fan defend that POS. He screwed you over twice. He left the team in shambles and he did try to punch a UK assistant.
