I don't think AU is as bad as most posters here think.

They've got a solid QB now and the offense really seemed to start clicking against Arkansas. I think most here probably think Arkansas is bad as well, but both AU and Ark have improved over the course of the season.

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see both Arkansas and Auburn finish above State and aTm in the final West standings.

They went from heisman qb and #4 (I think) pre-season ranking to benched qb garbage and very real potential for bowl ineligibility.

They might be the only team to have fallen further than us.

Well, other than pig.

Every person pictured here played a role in demise of the Auburn program. Even Bert with the smudge of smeckel on his chin was a player. The three aggers were just there for the jar.

Because they have the talent to win the championship... Way too talented to be mediocre... Hell they aren't even mediocre at this point..

Its also possible that Auburn wins against Ole Miss, aTm, UGA and Bama. So there's that

It's also possible I win the Powerball this week.

Several Auburn posters keep saying they are improving but that is complete horse shite.
They have improved at one position and that's QB. WR's are straight shite and that's after 3 years of coaching by the supposed offensive genius Gustav.

OL. Average. No improvement in this group.
RB. Roc and super star JC recruit Jovon are terrible. WTF?

Entire defense is a shite stain and have not improved anywhere. That's what happens when you hire a former HS coach that is nothing more than a glorified OC. He knows absolutely nothing about coaching defense. Nothing. He has no idea if Champ is improving them or not. Hell they only had one way to go and that was up.

And the bitter poster trying to minimize stroke mouth Berts win because it is Gustavs worst team is fouling himself. They both have been at their schools for 3 years. Gustav is declining like a motherfricker. Stroke mouth has been mostly all talk but he beat Gustav in his third with a mash unit. Hell his starting RB out of OT. Backup RB knocked out where K Frost almost ripped his head off with a faces ask. Starting QB, hurt but playing.
Hell this might be stroke mouths worst team other than year one after taking over for John L.

So yeah Auburn has improved at exactly one position on the field by benching what was supposed to be a Heisman candidate. It should be concerning that an offensive master couldn't even see who his best QB was.

it took Bert FOUR overtimes to win his first game against Gus...and that was against what everyone views as a shitty Auburn team

Based on the OP's point he's making, and very effectively I might add,

you don't get a lot of chances to beat an aubarn team that isn't shitty or mediocre.

Media guzzled the koolaid instead of realizing that Auburn had very little experience returning at QB and their best receiver had discipline issues.

Why? Seriously?

How the hell do Auburn fans put up with the roller coaster they have? It would drive me nuts to not be competitive year in and year out. To say AU was ok last year is just dumb. They weren't in the last part - they sucked. To have a year like this year (hell, even last year) would drive me nuts.

You guys need to stop making excuses for shitty coaching.

All that cracker said. Your coaching staff is high voice Peyton Manningbad. The only bright spot is the RB Johnson out of Madison Academy. Sorry, not sorry.

I think Gus may have a problem with player evaluation (JJ), and AU has had serious issues with player development. Coaching inconsistencies are tough to overcome in this conference. That AU defense has been through Roof, Stache, Ellis, and now Boom.

it is crazy how wrong sports 'experts' were about Auburn this year.
