I don't see it, it would be a lateral move.

he's been at Clemson longer than his time at Bama. it is easier to get to the playoffs at Clemson than Bama, by everybody on SEC's own admission.

Dabo's got a better team at Clemson than Alabama has this year. Obviously he doesn't need Alabama's 'tradition' to recruit good players, or Clemson's tradition is good enough to recruit

AU is a good team, they just got too much preseason hype.
