You nailed it. Tv has killed the likes of Tennessee and Nebraska. Why? Because y'all use to be able to say come to Tennessee and you can be on TV every week. Now errrrrbody on tv. I think y'all have a better chance of getting back to something better than now but Nebraska is toast. Who wants to live there.

The fact that CBS still consistently picks the game up despite the Vols flagging prospects should tell you everything you need to know. If there isn’t a top matchup that weekend, you can expect it to be the CBS game of the week.

Bluntly: it makes broadcasters money.

Because the fan base of both teams value it highly, far more than any game your team is associated with
