Looks like this thread has started to cover 60% or more of the typical LSU/Bama/AU talking points/flame wars.

It has hit the no rival, wins in my lifetime, fake MNCs, little brother, crying about refs/bye games, conference hierarchy points, etc. all in just the last couple of pages

Only if you use selective dates showing Auburn's superiority.

too lateeeee!

Bama is 3 for 5 against Florida since 2000. Winning by an average score of 26-6. That's a 20 point winning margin for you Lsu fans. Florida won their 2 games by an average of 29-17. for a margin of 12 pts per game. If anything, in the most recent meetings, Bama has shown to be even more dominant against them than when Florida really sucked.

Lsu on the other hand, is 6-6 since 2000, winning by an average score of 30-18 for a margin of 12 points. Meanwhile, Florida won by an average score of 32-11 for a margin of 20 points per game.

I can see why a small handful of yall and your athletic and school representatives are

Did anyone post where Alabama is 4-2 against Florida in the last 6 meetings that have occurred in the last 7 years with Alabama having outscored Florida 165-91 over those 6 games? Oh, and before Drac or anyone else claims those were patty cake games, Florida was ranked in the Top 10 in 4 of those 6 meetings with 3 games coming against a Top 5 Florida team. (sorry about that roadGator. Had to post the numbers to get the point across to a couple of the Rantards on the board )

Is it worth reading the 28 pages?

I was thoroughly entertained with it this morning. I think I even mentioned how much fun I was having with it in the thread.

I know I will regret this, but I need to kill some time until 5.

First of all, I don't mind playing UF. I think it is a fun game and would like to see it continue.

The reason most LSU fans resent the fact that we have UF and you have UT is that while they are both good schools, UF has been by far the better of the two since the begining of the SEC in 92 ( 77% vs 70%) and your years of 2000-2011 ( 74% vs 62%)

We know Bama isn't afraid of UF, UT or LSU. Just like LSU isn't afraid of UF, UT or Bama.

If you gave LSU fans the option, I bet most would choose to play UT & UF every year, so long as Bama was doing the same since the permanent rivals would be exactly the same and the rotating game would be left to chance.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter too much. If you win all the games vs your division, you are more often than not going to be headed to Atlanta.

Arbitrary stats are arbitrary.

I love when we play UF. Nobody cusses like UF girls.

Problem is, UF is usually damn good. They've had a crappy last couple of seasons, but they are going to be just fine here shortly. Why should it count against LSU that they play the juggernaut from the east, while other western teams play the pansy teams?

Keep UF, but make it a matter of sharpening our team - not in deciding the west. People that don't play tough out-of-divisional opponents need to stfu.

Tennessee does, and they seem quite content about our current rivalry.

Nobody but FSU girls. I'm married to one and sometimes I think she served time in the Navy. That girl can curse like a sailor at times.

Then they might not need to stfu. If given the option for their bama game to count in SECE standings, I guarantee they'd jump on it.

They would be foolish not to.
