Auburn has a smarter breed of criminals than ours.

That's pretty much it.

its just become a 'thing' that bama fans do crazy things, so its always reported when something weird happens.

Exactly. Do you think a Bama fan taking pictures of himself desecrating Shug Jordan's grave would just be ignored? Of course not. It would fill Clay Travis' inbox

How is this even comparable to killing someone, or laying your nuts on someone's face... Or destroying a landmark? Don't get me wrong the guy's an idiot, but let's not compare it to your crazies...

Auburn has the same percentage of crazy fans that we do, but we just have more fans so you hear about it more often.

I'm just not sure how 5 or 6 people are indicative of an entire fanbase of thousands and thousands of people. Help me understand.

Profile of Bama Fan : White, low to low middle income, High School educated blue collar background. They live vicariouly through the Football Program, because most of their lives they have been looked down upon by society. They take losing as an attack on their social status. This does not include all of them, but the ones who act out negatively fit this profile.

I know an Auburn side walker who is an acquaintance of mine through a friend and he is a cop for a small town police department north of Tuscaloosa. When I last saw him at my friend's wedding he was openly bragging about profiling people on: race, appearance (haircut, type of clothes,) and team affiliation. This same guy was at my friend's house during a cookout and started throwing pennies in the fire saying, "this is what we do at my Civil War reenactments to wish for the death of Lincoln." We had a get together for MNF back in 08 over at another friend's apartment who had an Obama magnet on his fridge. This Auburn fan decided to take the magnet throw, it in the trash and spit on it. To paint the picture for y'all it was the first time the Auburn fan had ever met my friend. To look at his vehicle you would never be able to tell he was an Auburn fan because he has Alabama hate stickers covering his back window with maybe one AU emblem on his entire vehicle. Crazy enough for you?

My Bama friends all tend to admit that they have the craziest fans and just embrace it while laughing at it.

A lot of posters on here don't. Is it a generational thing?

My friends are all in their early to mid 20s. Is it the older crowd that is afraid to admit it?

Then shouldn't the reports be proportionate?

Because their lives don't 100% revolve around the football program.

What does any of that have to do with doing something because of his fandom?
