Well if we wanted to be Bama or Georgia Tech, we'd claim 1927, 1942, 1946, 1968, and 1980
But, we only claim 1942 and 1980
And no talent was not anywhere near the level it is now nor did we have GOAT coaches walking through the door. It's not until the 2000's did we have great in state talent with a great coach.
The 90's were awful and we lost to Dan Marino in 1981 and Joe Paterno in 1982. We very easily could have gone on a three year run
Under Richt we just haven't been lucky enough or were shitting the bed
