I used to live in Sheridan for 15 years before I moved to NWA. I used to listen to DTS. I have nothing against Randy as he is harmless. I remember a caller prank called Randy as jackmeoff. As soon as he said it, everyone in the studio started laughing. I could tell in his voice that he was embarrassed. Because of that l cut him some slack.
Now Rick Schaeffer? He needs Randy around to make him appear smarter than he already is which he is not. I can remember him arguing with a parent of a football recruit. While Rick was in the wrong, his arrogance wouldn't allow himself to zip it. He kept arguing and arguing, I don't remember how it ended but he did make a big fool out of himself.

I don’t watch the SEC network at all outside of football season but Finebaum isn’t any worse than all the the other shows. At least he mixes things up, visits different venues, and has a variety of quality guests that open up and give unique takes on his show. The “regular” callers are, on average, retarded.

Why not take the Josh Pates of the podcast world and give them prime time on the Network? They give a ton of SEC content with a fresh take and the listener gets more than a birds-eye seat to the mentally ill.
