Let that sink in. Troy
God forbid an SEC team should lose to a OOC cupcake during the a head coach's first season, right?
Saban would never let that happen, right?
Right?

Georgia on the other hand has a 3-0 record against ND.
I'd rather be 2-1 in championships since 1981 than 3-0 against Notre Dame since 1981.
Thats just me though.

So would I, but that has nothing to do with what is being discussed. The poster (was it you, I don't know) claimed LSU had two more wins against ND than Georgia did. he merely neglected to mention that Georgia was undefeated against ND while LSU owns a losing record against them.
My rule of thumb is...if you don't like to be trolled then don't go out and try to troll other people.

Refresh my memory, wtf does Notre Dame even have to do with anything again?
Not even sure where that came from.

What?! A Clemson fan living in the past?? Color me shocked
I thought everyone knew that college football began on Dec31 2012...Clemson defeats LSU in the Peach...2013 Clemson beats tOSU in the Orange...2014 Clemson destroys OU in the Citrus...2015-2019 five consecutive CFP appearances and two (soon to be three) NCs.
There you have it...the history of college football 101.
ETA: There was one other year of college football in prehistoric times ...believe it was 1981 if memory serves.

Alabama has dominated LSU as of late but how do you get beatdown THAT BAD in front of God and all of America?
Speaking of, will JB9 be back from his missile strikes in time for the game?
The president asked him to intervene on behalf of the US in Iran...something his predecessors wouldn't do.

Dude. Look at the thread title! Concentrate. LSU fan claiming they have to clean up everyones messes.
So, I pointed out that Georgia cleaned up LSU's mess with ND and Missouri cleaned up LSU's mess with troy.
This isn't difficult. you start with the first troll post and work your way down the responses.

I'm just confused as to how you think LSU left a "mess" with Notre Dame? I dont remember Notre Dame talking a whole lot of shite after they beat a very average LSU team by 4 points in the freaking Citrus Bowl, especially since they were the higher ranked team.
You're just reaching at this point.

Read the OP. *sigh* Do I have to spell it out for you?
LSU fan said LSU had to clean up everybodys messes by beating teams that had previously beaten other SEC teams.
Crap dude. You can't be this out of it, can you?

Apparently you are.
ETA
here. Let me help you.
Notre Dame might just have a quarterback controversy on its hands heading into the off-season, but that is a debate for another day. Today, Notre Dame just pulled off a remarkable win over LSU with a ridiculous one-handed catch by Miles Boykin on a 55 yard touchdown. The win snapped a 9 game January bowl losing streak and a 6 game losing streak in the state of Florida for the Irish. Notre Dame, missing four players due to suspensions, beat LSU 21-17 for their second bowl win over the Tigers in three years.
Notre Dame site
No. they didn't talk crap after their Citrus Bowl win.

I didnt say that at all. Everyone has embarrassing games here and there.
My definition of a "mess" in this post was the type of game that had fans of the opposing team and conference hurling ridicule at the SEC team/conference.
Texas for instance keep referencing their win over Georgia before they played us.
UCF made a huge deal over their win over Auburn as I'm sure you remember.
Clemson fans are making a huge deal of their win over Alabama last season currently as I'm sure you've seen.
Was Notre Dame talking a lot of LSU smack prior to your game last season? Something may have been said here or there but it wasnt a huge talking point by their fanbase because that was a very average LSU team that wasnt in the SEC championship or anything, had a first year head coach, and had lost to freaking Troy at home.

remarkable win over LSU
They're alluding more to the fact of how they won than who they beat.
The only comments that said anything about LSU from your link:
quote:
The incredibly sloppy and pathetic play against an equally pathetically coached LSU team is NOTHING to celebrate.

You really believe ND can compete for a NC with IB based on half a game?! Against a depleted LSU D?!
You're reaching so far you're almost back to 1980.

I didn't see Texas hurling crap at the SEC. they said "We're back." Are you that sensitive?
I mean how is that different than letting ND beat LSU and thinking they are back? Pretty similar situation, wouldn't you say?

Maybe you should read more?
Try this for instance:
Top 10 wins for ND in the decade
4. December 30, 2014 — Notre Dame 31, LSU 28 — The Irish had lost the last four games it played and the Kelly tenure was on the brink. This wasn’t a great LSU team, but it had Leonard Fournette and it seemed no one thought the Irish had a chance to win this game. Notre Dame was a seven-point dog and most analysts covering Notre Dame picked the Irish to lose. The win helped erase some of the bad memories from November and gave the Irish a much-needed shot in the arm heading into the offseason.
#4 with a much needed shot in the arm going into the off season. Please explain how this is any different than our loss to Texas?

Do you think they ranked it that high just because? No. It was because it was against a traditional power in the SEC.
Here is another ND site:
A HUGE MONKEY OFF ITS BACK
There may be a few people that won't give this enough credit, or refuse to accept it as real, but Notre Dame finally won a New Year's Day bowl game. I don't want to hear any nonsense about the Rose, Cotton, Fiesta, Orange, Sugar, or Peach bowls. The Citrus Bowl is still a big bowl game and this was against a really good SEC opponent.
LINK
You and I might know that it was not a typical LSU team...very similar that we know that georgia did not play it's best game against Texas, but the results were the same in both cases. Their fans let everybody know that they beat a SEC team. Woo Hoo.
Again. If you are going to talk cleaning up messes, then we would have to put the ND loss and the Troy game in the conversation.
Let's talk Troy, now. you don't think they made a big deal out of it?
Troy upset LSU, made $985,000 and epically burned the Tigers with a thank you tweet
They tweeted it out for the entire country to see. It was picked up by USA Today and all of the major media reported it. Here are a few gems:
Plus, Troy made $985,000 from this game. LSU paid to get upset. That has got to hurt even more.
LSU entered Saturday’s contest against Troy 16-0 all-time against Sun Belt teams and winners of 49 consecutive non-conference home games — the nation’s longest streak that dated back to 2000.
So, you don't think those were messes? Wow. if thta's all it takes then I don't think the Texas game was a mess. Done.

Damn buddy, calm down, none of this was ever that serious.
