I'll answer that question with another question.

Why is it when Georgia was not recruiting as well you guys said they were underachieving considering the rich talent base but now they are recruiting better you claim they are cheating?

Talk about something being off

Most coaches are out interviewing or relaxing. Kirby is relentless. He was pitching recruits at the post game SEC press conference. Got a commit out of it, what kid couldn’t see our need for WRs after watching Tyler Simmons start?

Hot bed of talent in Georgia, just like Louisiana.

Kirby is a good recruiter
#1 or #2 college party town in America
State of Georgia is a recruiting hot bed
RBU
Always highly ranked
Players care more about making it to the NFL than national championships

&, if memory serves, UGA has a better/higher anti-drug policy than LSU. Didn't HoneyBadger fail numerous times & STILL PLAYED?

Tradition - we don't win as much as our talent sometimes says we should, but Georgia has been good since the Goff years.

SEC - we're on national television a lot and in the best conference in college football.

Location - Athens is a great college town and the New York of the South is a short drive away, so you can get the best of both worlds.

Talent - our backyard is the backyard that everyone recruits.

Means - profitable athletic department that finally got around to using those profits to upgrade the facilities.

The Ramblin’ Wreck will not lead a parade down Techwood Drive. No confetti cannons will be shot in McCamish Pavilion. But Thursday nevertheless will be a noteworthy day — Georgia Tech will complete its six-year sentence on NCAA probation.

The day will be the final ounces of penalty paid by the school for two embarrassing infractions, both of which were entirely avoidable. For Tech, not much will change procedurally. But it’s undeniable that, whatever one’s opinion of the NCAA, the penalties that Tech paid had the intended effect — to improve its ability to be compliant with the NCAA rulebook.

Wow. This is awkward.

That must be a new thing. Uga fans always said under Richt they spent way less on things that help you win (facilities being the major thing) than the teams they were directly competing with

Definitely new. They gave into Kirby's demands on that.

According to Sam Pittman, we outwork the other teams in the conference. Sweat equity.

Lots of in-state elite talent.

Beautiful campus in a great college town.

Competitive team.

Persuasive coach.

Near enough to Atlanta.
