It's because we can't afford new uniforms.

Bluebloods don't need gimmicks.

If the REC would cut our dues I would contribute.

If you didn't have to pay for the UAB football program, then maybe you could.

Classic Uniforms like the power teams wear are the only way to go. If you suck and need to attract recruits with shiny new things, then you're not attracting them with winning...just my thoughts.

Go ahead, ask Alabama fans if they want to see the Crimson Tide wear chrome helmets and flashy jerseys. They’ll look at you like you have two heads. The Crimson Tide have college football’s most iconic uniforms, and it’s pretty easy to see why. No team’s combination is as simple-yet-beautiful – white pants with either a crimson or white jersey, and a simple crimson helmet that feature a player’s number. While many other schools have toyed around with alternate jerseys, or gone with a modern spin on their uniforms, the Crimson Tide have kept their kits virtually the same through the years. Their uniforms are as much a part of Alabama’s rich football tradition as on-field success, and we would be shocked if they go through any major changes in the near future. Roll Tide. No. 1, yet again.

Bama's unis are iconic. Personally, I would love to see LSU break out the purples while Bama wears the crimsons like UGA and Florida did. Would look magnificent.

The materials, construction, and design are all cutting edge. We just don't get into all that crappy alternate color pattern stuff that doesn't really mean anything.

I agree. I love LSU's purple jerseys.
Purple on Red would be awesome.

We used to have all-white helmets.
Yall should bring those back for the Iron Bowl one year IMO.

I love the fact they wear traditional uniforms. That uniform is solid. We wore it in highschool
