There is no shame in going to Blinn or one of Texas' CAP programs. It's knowing people that went through both then try to shite on others who chose to actually enjoy their freshman year as a student of a major University that makes me

Or transferred with insufficient credits, due to poor advising.

Or had family obligations that came before university tuition.
Or wanted to beef-up the GPR before starting at A&M.
Or just needed more time to grow up.
Truth be told, I struggled academically during my freshman year at A&M--and I was a great student.
A year at Blinn College likely would've done wonders for me.

It all depends on how the next year or two plays out. If Sumlin changes his game plan just a bit to allow a decent defense to take the field then the Aggies are a juggernaut.
If he just can't make those adjustments and Chavis doesn't work out... well then the Aggies take a step back in a very competitive conference. Long term, to use a stock market analogy, I think the Aggie are a solid buy.
