We've had other years where we lost some key players (including QB) and rebounded just fine.
e.g. Torch passed from Jamarcus Russell - who never won an SEC Title - to 5th year senior MATT FLYNN, who, is in his ONE year as a starter IN 2007, just like, ONLY WON A NATIONAL TITLE.
If track record is ANY indication, LSU will be just fine. We are the ONLY program in the country to have a winning season and go to a bowl game in 23 of the last 25 seasons, including 20 in a row.
In addition, we are a respectable 10-10 vs Bama in the last 20 years, and 18-19-1 vs them in the last nearly 4 decades. NO ONE ELSE CAN SAY THAT......
In reality, the only position of worry should be the O-line, as we have most of our skill players returning for Brennan to throw to and hand off to - Chase, Marshall, Dillon, McMath, Boutte, Moore......and Arik Gibson - the #1 TE in the country, and at RB - the devastating trio of Price, Emery and Curry.
on defense we have to replace a few starters, but a lot of the backups played last year, so we'll have at least some experience - plus Pelini coaching them.
The key to the 2020 Tigers will be the four games of:
At Auburn, At Florida, At A&M, and Alabama at home. Texas at home will not be easy either.
Maybe not the CFP, but I fully expect us to win, at the very least - 9 games.

Why do y'all think LSU is like 2010 Auburn?
They don't.
It's just a rather pathetic trolling attempt.
2020 LSU >>>>>>> 2011 Auburn.

Auburn is 11-9 vs Alabama in the last 20 years and 20-20 since 1980. Also, feel like you are missing a game in your last 20 years since you guys played twice in 2011/12 season.
Regardless, I agree that LSU should win 9-10 next year though, too much talent not to. I think O has a solid enough track record at this point (including his interim stint at USC) that we can all assume he won’t let things go off the rails like Chizik did at Auburn.
