Why do some posts on this board not return the thread to the top?

For an example- I responded in this thread....

I've been on sports board going on 20 years, and I don't think I've ever been on one that worked like that. It's no big deal. Just different.

It was anchored for having a vague thread title ("Jalen Hurts") that doesn't let users know what the thread is about.

For real? That's wild. I saw "Jalen Hurts" and I figured...well...I figured it was about the Alabama qb of the same name.

You should go to the help board and read the thread stickied at the top about improving thread titles. The thread you linked was most likely anchored because of its vague title.

ehh. Can't say that I have. I like the board anyhow. It's kind of like Rivals national board used to be before so many posters and mods got too sensitive.

I'm just saying chicken wants more specific thread titles. There was a sticky thread a while back explaining they were going to start anchoring threads with really short, vague thread titles.
It's basically a version of click bait to just have "Jalen Hurts" and have to click the thread to find out "what about Jalen Hurts?".
