But it is nice actually going to D.C. to be sworn in before the Court.
I think that's the coolest part, and to have special access to the court and the library. But to be sworn in by Justice Roberts will be pretty awesome. No matter how brief it is.

No, I think most black people would never name a black child Tillman. Unless you are Clayton Bixby no self respecting black man would do that.

Why are you posting today? You said last night that you were leaving and would no longer post on tRant.
You aren't a lying pos are you?

Is that really Tom Brady?
Whoever painted it pretty much lifted if from Van Gogh and his "blue" paintings (strong strokes and that birds egg blue)

Do you really think before you post?
Kentucky is much smaller than South Carolina yet they have at least 3 law schools
Louisville for Louisville
Kentucky for Lexington
NKU for Cincinnati
2 med schools in Louisville and Kentucky
2 business schools (probably more)
1/2 dozen nursing schools
the state of SC has two medical schools.
i don't think it is necessary for Clemson to have its own.

Clemson has a good rep up north.
Yeah because schools like Princeton and MIT are not in the north
Seriously, I bet if I bothered I could find 50 colleges or universities in the US better than Clemson. Just between the B1G, PAC, and Ivy I am probably already at 30 and that is before getting to the rest of the P5's or the schools like Chicago and Carnegie Mellon that don't have sports teams of note (granted I like the "Nerdy Nine" but without looking can you name 4 of them?)

no engineering employer is going to base decisions on who to interview for job based on what school a person attended.
they looking for degree in enngineering from an an ABET acredited program, GPA, and relevant work experience.
they don't reference the US News rankings or whatever it is you are looking at to make decisions.
you aren't an engineer so you aren't qualified to rank and compare engineering programs.

Congratulations. Seems like yesterday but I got sworn in before the Court almost thirty years ago.
I guess saying I swore in court the other day is not the same?
Everybody in the family wanted me to be a lawyer but I was drawn to the military and engineering.

So my friend who graduated from OSU then went to get his Electrical Engineering doctorate from Michigan should have gone to a worse school because no one cares about that stuff?
Dude, if it's anything like law school (and I'm not saying it 100% is), than you can't even get into the door at some firms or at certain places without having an Ivy League degree or the equivalent

It is very hard to believe you are an engineer. You cannot even capitalize correctly or use proper punctuation.

says the sidewalk fan hick who has posted a pic of a woman's butt and thinks a large state university like Clemson only draws students from the immediate area.
i don't see anything standout about your writing on here.

Who has the better engineering school
Clemson
OR
Georgia Tech

i think they are both good engineering schools. you won't specify how G TEch is better than CLemson, or why you feel the need to market G Tech on here given they don't pay you.
how could an engineering school be bad? they are challenging programs.
why does one have to be better than the other?

If you are a real engineer you grow up as a kid knowing who these schools are. Clearly you are not versed in that side of advanced education. Are you a lapdog or something similar?

you just a liberal arts type who parrots things you hear. you have no independent knowledge of any engineering school.
what you are do is analogous to comparing restaurants that you have never been to. you have no credibility.

Georgia Tech is #7 on this list and among the likes of many highly regarded universities.
Clemson is #75....
To say there is no difference is laughable. Georgia Tech kid with a 2.0 GPA is getting hired a thousand times over the Clemson kid with a 4.0 GPA.
see you can't talk about the colleges independently, it is reference a list and you don't even discuss the criteria in the list and explain how it proves their program is better than CLemson's.
i would think a lawyer would understand the fallacy of that type of argument. it is an appeal to authority argument.
So are you saying the engineering professors at Clemson are not qualified to teach engineering? Keep in mind many of them attended universities higher ranked than Clemson.
how does a dumb liberal arts lawyer guy have credibility to talk about engineering programs? I don't think science and math was your thing.
