I would ask my engineering friends who they would hire from ignoring the GPA.
But I imagine I would get laughed at from the sheer notion of putting Georgia Tech and Clemson in the same sentence regarding engineering. So I'll pass.

I still say you are an alter as no self respecting engineer is purposely this dumb and Clemson has to have some minimum standard for you to matriculate, and if you write in the real world the way you do on here a real college degree from any university seems improbable.
You can fess up to being a Tiger (LSU or ZOU) alter and I won't tell anybody.

Clemson is highest classification of Carneige research university.
AAU is just some marketing thing. it doesn't mean anything. I believe a school like Iowa State is in that and CLemson is ranked higher than Iowa State in every ranking list i've seen.
you aren't an engineer so how can you speak for engineers?

Not just the school itself but they were one of the first to Co Op (UC was the first if memory is working) and that alone lands you better jobs because the headhunters have you on their radar long before you even graduate.

yes, i'm waiting for you to describe in specifics how the G Tech engineering program is better than Clemson's engineering program. Clemson has an ABET accredited program.
to me, saying one engineering program is better than another is like saying one medical college is better than another. lol we just have some fanboys doing some free marketing for a college.

Who do you want operating on your brain tumor? The doctor that went to school at Harvard or the one that attended a Caribbean school and got rejected from every United States school?

this is based on recruiter feedback, not people in academics or liberal arts people at northern based magazines like US News.
G Tech gets hyped up a lot simply because it is in Atlanta.
if Clemson was in Atlanta, it would be in the top 5 b/c it would get that easy marketing

I started college as a specialized engineer at a Top 10 school (no not naming the specific major or school) and wound up getting moved to Finance when future employers found I had some people skills. (seriously, some of the folks I went to school with had serious lack of people skills - like full blown Aspergers types - even tho they were far smarter than this old country boy).

As for hiring folks, I would let any GT grad to at least a serious interview (and I am not a GT fan) just because their school is strong and I have worked with many of their former graduates.

i don't think a highly educated person is making your high schoolish callow comments such as 'ALabama girls look better than CLemson girls'. lol
you never demonstrated how you have been able to spend so much time at Clemson and Alabama to compare the beauty of CLemson girls vs Alabama girl, or explained how Alabama is able to keep ugly girls from attending. Does ALabama ask for a pic? Or require modeling experience? lol
