Pretty much every scenario I've seen has Tennessee winning out and LSU still getting in.

I haven't seen a single reputable outlet saying LSU gets in.

About 80 percent of them are saying UT gets in.

So cry more.

The prediction sites are juggling a bunch of stats to give you odds of everyone combined making it

When it comes to humans selecting who goes it only needs to project what the head to head means where LSU got skullfricked

The rest is noise

It's basically unanimous across most networks that LSU is in if they beat UGA.

Sticking your fingers in your ears and pretending that isn't true won't make it go away.

I personally would rather a NY6 bowl as I don't think LSU is good enough to win a title, hopefully if Georgia beats LSU then Tennessee gets in and LSU gets the Sugar or Orange Bowl.

Yes but you have a lose against a 3 lose FSU team in the dome.

Nobody with a brain really gives that much of a frick about that first-game, missed PAT loss as far as a reflection on the Tigers present day.

It’s just an easy reference for the mouth breathers to look at a “2” in the L column and shut down their brain.

Cool.

It isn't like you've ever been right about anything though so I can't take anything you say seriously.

You are way too confident in your opinion.

An SEC Champ has never been left out of the playoff.
Especially one that defeats the #1 team in the country the game before the playoffs.

She also spent all offseason saying that BK would be lucky to win 6 games at LSU and the like.

She has a deep personal hatred of BK and LSU and it's very odd.

Pretty much anyone who actually knows anything about college football knows LSU still has a shot at the playoff.

You do have 'a shot'.

According to the allstate playoff predicter, you have a 5 percent chance at this moment, and a 46 percent chance IF you (lol) beat UG on Dec 5.

UT has a 58 percent chance at this moment, and a 66 percent chance if they beat Candy and USuC.

So even if all your dreams come true, UT still has a much better chance of getting in than LSU.

And THAT is why "people really think that Tennessee has a legit shot at the playoff".

Because they do.

And they won't this year, unless LSU beats UG. Which everyone knows won't happen.

Let me ask you this. If LSU loses to ATM (could happen, look at their 'performance' vs Arkie) and a 3-loss West champ beats UG, do you still believe that "MUH SEC CHAMP NO MATTER WHAT DESERVES MUH PLAYOFF SPOT"?

Of course you don't.

The only reason an SEC champ has never been left out of the playoff is because an SEC champ has never been left out of the playoff.

That doesn't mean that an SEC champ CANNOT be left out of the playoff. Just that it hasn't happened yet.

I'd prefer a NY6 bowl

Of course they do, especially if LSU loses to Georgia like they should.

Which you will most likely get, worst case scenario.

Hey, a NY6 bowl is one helluva consolation prize. I didn't even, in my wildest dreams, think UT would be able to climb high enough this season to get a NY6 bowl.

And if we don't get in the playoffs, I will be happy with it.

They only need a couple dominoes to fall to have a really good chance to be in.

Of course if LSU wins they’re out no matter what else happens

They need two of the following three things to happen to have a REALLY GOOD chance.

TCU loses, UT loses, MICH loses bigly (by 30+ points). Two of those happen, and yeah they could squeeze in at 4th.

USC would then be their only problem. But their SOS might then overcome the extra loss, especially considering that USC doesn't have a head to head blowout over them.

And hell, USC could easily lose another one.

I think people are just purposefully ignorant around here and let anger get the best of them.

Saying UT has a shot at the playoffs =\= saying UT will make the playoffs

For some reason, saying UT has a shot just short circuits peoples brains OTB
