diid anyone see the ironbowl....that game was very physical, alot more physical than usc and clemson last night,I say spurrier coaches them up has them ready, but unlike bama's offensive cordinaror ...spurrier who calls the plays does not let his foot off the gas.South Carolina does have a good defense and less not forget since beating florida ,sc is playing with more intesity as well...I just think auburn looked wore out towards the end of the ironbowl and it will reflect this wekend in atlanta...plus who knows what Cam Newton story will break next week..

Because they already beat you once. Don't get me wrong, I'll be pulling for you, but its a tall order for a college team to beat a pro team.

I don't know if USCe can do it but I will be pulling for them for 2 reasons.

1. Cam Newton
2. If USCe and Auburn goes to the BCS Arky goes to the Capitol One and then LSU can go to the Cotton (hopefully), Outback, or Peach bowl.

AU did not impress me in the Iron Bowl. That was a game we should have won in a rout by halftime.

I do have to give AU credit for hanging around and finding a way to win, good teams do that, but by no means is this a great team.

The Camburglar sure as hell didn't run wild and the ball was assuredly NOT run down Alabama's throat. This team can be stopped and was slowed way down by the Bama D.

I think the Gamecocks can deal them a real fit because of the matchups. Auburn can't back off and play pass defense because Lattimore will hurt them and they can't load the box because their DB's have no chance at all against the USCe big receivers.

USCe is decent on D and can hang in a track meet, plus this one isn't at AU.

When we played earlier in the season, we shut down Lattimore and rushed for 368 yards.

I say again this is NOT at AU. I note you didn't mention the great job your DB's did with the USCe receivers either. You picked your poison and you'll have to do so again.

You got your hands full and I look for AU to have as much trouble as they did last week.

Because they're worldbeaters. Didn't you know that 2010 Auburn is an all-history team?

I don't. SC pissed away the previous encounter with 4 TO's. If Garcia has a good game and Lattimore gets his yards, SC can win; just got to take care of the ball.

ok, so coming back in the second half down 24 at one point IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD doesnt account for auburn "IMPRESSING" you?? well what do you call that team then???

I do not want to get in a pissing match with any Alabama fan. I have not rubbed that game in. But this statement shows low class and sour grapes. I could say, read your own statement and if it is true, what does that say about your own team? Letting an unimpressive team come back from 21 or 24 down, what ever it was, and beat you on your own field?
BTW: I have alot of respect for South Carolina. When they are on, they are very tough. Auburn will have to play a great game to beat them.

I'm not saying whether or not the Auburn team was impressive last night. I do think, however, that the Auburn win would've been more impressive if Alabama hadn't choked and Auburn had come back to win.

Basically, we tainted your victory by sucking.

I understand what you are saying. BTW: You did not make the remarks that I was referring to.

THIS, some Gump fans just cant give the Barn any credit. Barners have found a way to win every game, have already beaten USCe once. Also, USCe lost to an awful Kentucky team and got curb stomped by a good Arkansas team with a SECG berth on the line.

Its interesting you guys clock us in the 1st qtr and your D is considered in beastmode and shutting Auburn down....yet by your statement Auburns D hardly had anything to do with shutting down your O????? Thats rich man.

I think AU defense made very good adjustments and they do not get credit for it.
How do I know: Because the Chiz said that they did!!

I have repeatedly said AU deserves credit for finding a way to win. GOOD teams do that.

But by NO MEANS is this a great team. South Carolina is good enough to beat you and you have serious matchup problems with their big WR's.

Alshon Jeffreys is pure poison.Big WR's all across the league have shredded your defense. That is a fact.

Did you miss the first game? We lost because of FOUR TURNOVERS in the fourth quarter. Yes they ran the ball down our throats but they could not stop our offense either and I think a lot of people are forgetting that!

A postscript. We were not the better team in the Iron Bowl. Best team won.You hung on for dear life in the first half and made the adjustments necessary. We did not.

That having been said you got more trouble this week.

That and the fact it has happened a few times this year. If it was just this game than you might have a choke argument, but when Auburn has comeback several times than the adjustment of the D is the better argument. Pretty tough for every team to choke at the same time period in each game.
