If uf wins the east I won't brag about it. It's not worth anything again this year.

In the end it just goes into this:

Florida fans: Skeptical about team even after beating Ole Miss.

Mizzou fans: Confident even after losing to Kentucky.

Did you know Mizzou has out scored Florida 95-37 since we joined the SEC? Makes you think.

Think What??

Are you really going to base your success against UF on the past 2 seasons. That was the worst team in our modern history. You're pathetic. I'll admit Missouri has competed better than most SEC fans predicted. Is it a coincidence that Missouri's success happened when UF and UT were struggling so bad?? "Makes You Think"

This board never changes, instead of just saying Indiana this year, people say "Kentucky". A team Florida should have lost to as well.

Florida outside the swamp with a freshman QB, that doesn't even phase Florida fans.

Delusional.

Well, we also said 34 - 0 against Georgia last year.

Some of your own fans claiming that UK winning was fluky and "this year's Indiana" probably doesn't help that perception.

Last year? Who gives a frick about last year?

Let's talk about Florida losing to an FCS school, if we're going to bring up old shite let's talk about that. Cause that's the most fricking embarrassing thing that's probably ever happened in the SEC. I'm surprised any of you have the balls to even post here after that.

I watched that entire game, I was in that thread. Kentucky outplayed Missouri, period.

I also watched fans say "Kentucky isn't even really an SEC team...", even quoted him, and said: "You will when they beat you."

Mauk looked like a bag of dicks against UK and Towles played the game of his life. With a little zebra help the game turned out how it did.

UK is a good team, you should have beat Florida.

Of course. The "Towles has never played like that before" when he has and the "OMG THE REFS" argument.

You know, for a fanbase that cries about not getting respected you sure have a problem with admitting you just got beat by a better team.

Mauk actually didn't have a horrible game. Sure he went 15 - 30 but he didn't get too much help and Kentucky was all up in his grill.

Lock nearly threw a pick and took you out of FG range on a sack when he came in. Kentucky just punched you square in ya goddamn nose, just accept it.

Sure it does.

But Mizzou fans assume Lock is finally starting and everything's okay!!!

Never mind gaining less than 300 yards against South Carolina at HOME...

Is it confidence to say that we might beat Florida? What are our options?

We're not the same team with Lock that we were with Mauk. I think rational people can admit that. And rational Mizzou fans can also admit we still have a lot of weaknesses.

Just for perspective, Kentucky had 400.

...AT South Carolina.

North Carolina had 440.

Georgia had 576.

Missouri only outperformed Central Florida yardage wise.

It's hilarious, because I've seen this narrative before. The entire thing.

Treon Harris coming in for Jeff Driskel last year for the Gators. "We finally have a QB!!!", same results.

Lock looks serviceable, but he doesn't look like a world beater yet. "Different team, team plays harder."

Holy shite it is the exact same thing.
