I think you’re just seeing that one fanbase takes college baseball way more seriously than everyone else. That fan base also happens to have won 2/3 of the last national titles. Also, we hate our football and basketball programs so it’s a lot of venting too.

My post wasn't based on this site. Pissing contests are expected here. Since I follow a bunch of MLB stuff on X, Facebook and Instagram, the Giants hiring the Tennessee coach popped up all over my feeds. When you went to the comments, it was 50/50 Tennessee and LSU fans flapping gums.

"Talk smack....". Exactly. It's got nothing to do with being jealous or being offended. UT ranters here lead the pack in trolling the SEC whenever a Vol team, any sport, wins a game. They also lead the pack in creating alters. Both of which generates a lot of smack talking back & forth.

Not really because the fans of the teams that are struggling or out of it aren’t loudly proclaiming how much they never cared about football.
