Look at Speedy Noil, Landon Collins, h'll even Hootie Jones. The list goes on. LSU fans on here just take kids leaving so personally. Like the athletes go out of their way to frick over LSU by not going to play there.

A lot of these same people bad mouth North Louisiana every chance they get and then they get butthurt when they tell the State University to frick off.

The same could be said for fans who react negatively when players choose Auburn over Bama or vice versa.

Landon and Speedy were kinda hated because they talked shite. If the kids talk shite, are fans not allowed to talk shite back?

I think people get upset because they assume that Cam chose to play for Bama/Saban over LSU because he liked the campus more, the people more, the coaches more and/or he thought he had a better chance to win. The truth is Bama paid him more. If folks recognized that's why he plays for Bama, I don't think they'd be as upset with him.

FWIW, Cam has handled this just as badly as the LSU fans. He likes rub it in our face any chance he gets and has on several occasions called out LSU on social media

Why does this hate seem to come from LSU fans more than any other in situations like this? Is it just because we are an offshoot of TD and I see all they have to offer or is it something different?

I don't get any hate for Cam. He committed to Bama early and never led LSU on or anything.

I have no idea. I don't really follow other schools recruiting so I don't know if LSU is the only fanbase that does this or not

That seems fair. Maybe being the only big dog in state without competition for players has to do with it also. It's just something I've noticed since being here and reading the Cam comments inspired me to make this thread.

Nobody likes rejection, Patton. Even from 18 year-old african-american males who you will most likely never interact with. Actually, that's the worst kind of rejection.
