Why do Georgia fans always talk about how Mullen couldn’t win the West at MSU

How was he supposed to win the West at Miss St when Bama, LSU, and Auburn were all playing good football? All this crap about “Mullen can’t win a division” doesn’t make any sense when no one besides those 3 teams has one the West since 2006. Yes, at Florida he should win his division and has yet to do so, but he’s not a bad coach because “he couldn’t win the West”

Dak was special but there wasn't a priority on defense or mullen definitely could have cucked out everyone but Bama during those years, but he didn't.
I honestly think Dan has all the tools to be a championship caliber coach but is just too lazy.

As opposed to UF fans who claim Kirby is a terrible coach when he’s won 3 division titles, 2 H2H with UF Mullen, the SEC and a playoff game.

And that isn't a valid argument?
Kirby was able to jump right into a team who fired their coach for having back to back 10-3 seasons. He went 8-5 the next year then 13-2 the next.
Mullen took over a team that went 4-7 the previous year (same year as Kirby's 13-2) and went 10-3.
The east is undeniably harder with both UGA and Florida being good. I don't know why you're even trying to argue otherwise.

Kirby has managed to win the “new and improved” East twice (only counting the years UF has been better). He did so while losing 37 seniors (UF and most of this boards claim) off the 17 team. He did so in only his 3rd and 4th year ever as a HC (Mullen been doing it a decade and a half). I don’t think Mullen is an idiot or bad coach, but on no planet should he be consider a good coach and Kirby a bad one. Both make mistakes, both do good things, neither has reached their high point career wise yet.
People here don’t want to talk reasonably about football. This place is a flame fest. That’s the real answer to the OPs question. No one is gonna compliment any school unless it’s to take a shot at another...especially a rival.
People are delusional if they think UGA is gonna fall off the map next year or that Kirby won’t do whatever it takes to win. The narrative has been “UGA gonna suck with a Freshman QB running that offense Kirby will never change”. Well both stupid comments fell apart this last 7 days. UGA will have a fight with UF for the SECE next year no doubt. I don’t think we are SEC Champ caliber in 2020 though, with all the losses on OL and a new offense.
