I love the we're better this year because we have better players backing the players up we lost crowd when both teams are replacing lots of players with talented players behind them. I mean does anyone think talent will be the deciding factor in this game. This will be a very close game. LSU's offense did not lose the game for them last year. The defense struggled early, Bama built a lead and then executed at the end when they had to. This will be another nail biter as usual. Who wins, I don't know, but it seems as though the OP is trying to in typical LSU fashion create a perceived slight or disrespect when truth is LSU fans are just as confident in their team as Alabama is in theirs.

If Alabama lined up against LSU 10 straight Saturdays, Alabama would win 6 out of 10.....maybe 7 out of 10.

AlaTiger, I think it is more than that. LSU has been the only team lately (sans 21-0) that has proven that they can go toe-to-toe with Bama on a regular basis. I think that the jury is still out on A&M since they have only been in the conference for one year but time will tell for them.
And bamasgot13, I think it was more than obvious that the 21-0 was a fluke and LSU had no heart in it. Look how all of the rest of the games have gone for the past 4-5 years. If you think that LSU gave it any real effort, you are a fool.

No heart in it? It was the fricking National Championship for Christ sake. If LSU had "no heart in it" then Miles should have been fired the next morning. The realty is they had heart in it, they were just totally outclassed by a better football team. The fluke was November 5th of that year.

Game shouldn't have come down to that but its 60 minutes long. We were playing a fired up team in what is without question their biggest game of the year. We're always gonna get LSU's best shot as long as Saban is our coach. All the LSU fans I know really don't care about any other games besides this one. That leads to a team playing over its head in that one game and LSU and particularly Mettenberger did that last season.
