I guess it is a response thread in that I'm asking why you guys brag about the size of your enrollment.

Still haven't really got a straight answer.

Do you have an example of someone bragging about this?

It happens all the time, I'm sure it wouldn't be terribly hard.

It’s absolutely something to be proud of, and it’s not the size of enrollment, you have it all mixed up. Do you see A&M is not only large but it has world-class facilities and unlimited space with which they continue to build new world-class facilities upon.

Hey, bro. I get it.

It's not the size of your enrollment that matters.

Isn’t A&M’s threshold about the same?

Because of space limitations on the t-sipping 40 acres, they only are required to take the top 7% of all high school graduates. We are stuck with 10% because we have "unlimited" room.

Again it is something to be proud of, every longhorn alum that hass ever visited campus with me or with any of the other corporate and academic consultants that UTA contracts with, Leaves impressed and wanting us to help them find ways to duplicate what has happened in BCS

Of course, that explains why a 4 year degree from A$M earns more than any other in Texas

It’s funny how long horn T-shirt fans don’t understand how jealous the powers that be in Austin are of what’s going on in college station. UTSA would not be what it is if UTA was not so landlocked and poorly planned

t.u. was never meant to become as big as it already is. It was supposed to be a "university of the first class" which would mean that 40 acres would have been PLENTY. But, they let it grow like a weed and now they are out of space and nowhere to go. It's caused the price of Austin real estate to explode over the past 40 years.
