He kicked at Tivy. He was making the kicks at practice. Our current kicker sucks arse. He was giving the kicker shite and Sumlin told him to try it. He failed and now he and the fans can stop complaining.

Neither of them had any business winning the Heisman either. Their schools were the reason why. Schools like AM don't have the luxury. Those athletes have to have over the top seasons like RG3 to have a shot. Mediocre years will get you there playing at Bama.

Most people aren't hating. They just acknowledge that it was a classless, attention whorish move on the part of Sumlin and/or Manziel.
At the same time, I can acknowledge that it's not a big deal at all, and nobody would give a shite if TAMU fans didn't defend it. As soon as that happens, you have a thread that blows up.

Most of the people saying it was classless or disrespectful to Sam Houston, obviously didnt watch that game.
Several times, well before the extra point attempt, the Sam Houston players blatantly targeted Manziel by hitting him late, out of bounds, in the back of the head etc.... They acted like complete trash.
It was obviously a PR stunt. Like it or not, CBS and a few others talked about it (in a good way) during the half time shows on other national games, so it served it's purpose.

i find it hard to believe he actually kicked in HS and practiced it in the weeks leading up. Did not one person say hey Johnny you're doing it wrong? Stop using your toe.
