Not as mad as Dee Ford though, he's just been told he's not healthy enough to play football based on an injury from 2011. His draft stock just took a HUGE hit. He went from the 4th-5th round to most likely not being drafted now....and all that after talking so much shite....wow what a way for a punk to go out.
Dee had worked himself into a solid second round and was gaining steam for the first round. He has several doctors that have cleared him to play and some that are now saying he's a risk and may have a short career. Haven't heard the specifics but that's what it sounds like this far.

That guy seems terribly misinformed on draft projections.

Clowney to Ford, "I'm still better than you." "He just said that to try to build his stock up, to help himself out, so I didn't take it personal" (shrugs)
Clowney is all class.
It's funny, b/c he didn't even have to say it.

Dude, just chill. Ford is on the rise and Clowney is on the decline, but he'll still get drafted significantly higher. Not sure why you're so freaked out.
Clowney "all class" LOL.

See I know you're trolling now, considering Clowney ducked out like a bitch.
Dee is rocketing up, Clowney is raising a lot of eyebrows (in a bad way), but in the end it won't matter.

Some guys dominate practice.

Dee is rocketing up,
Link the mock draft that shows a guy who wasn't medically cleared to perform in the Combine, b/c he had an injury from 2011, that may have not healed properly, but his team still played him. Link that mock draft....

Ford just went into undrafted projections. His disc/spine injury is a huge concern for teams that would want him as a situational OLB. He could come in and not pass the team's physcial, but they would be on the hook for atleast his signing bonus and any other weeks while he was on IR or until he was cleared. He's a total risk, apparently he's been hurt sense 2011.
He's going to have to see a doctor who will medically clear him to play professional football before the NFL Draft, otherwise, nobody is going to risk the money or waste the pick gambling on a guy who wasn't medically cleared for a disc/spine injury. We aren't just talking about an ankle injury, this could be a career ending injury.

no, I'm just reading the articles.

Former Auburn defensive end Dee Ford came into the combine as one of the more intriguing defensive prospects in the draft. He was already likely to fall to someone in either the late first or early second rounds, which would have put him high atop the list of potential draft steals. But after his stupid and unnecessary comments about Jadeveon Clowney, he could see his stock drop even further.
Ford, who did not participate in the combine drills because the medical staff told him to sit out, came out and said that Clowney played like a “blind dog in a meat market”. While the statement might be as true as it is funny to envision, the fact that he opened his mouth in the first place has to make teams weary of taking him.

quote:
2. Dee Ford
It’s unfair to knock a prospect when he’s not medically cleared to participate in drills. But it’s disappointing to not see him compete after publicly calling out South Carolina DE Jadeveon Clowney.
Ford stated he was better than Clowney. He also said Clowney plays like a “blind dog in a meat market, basically.”
MORE: “What Jadeveon Clowney’s 40-yard dash time means“
Ford wasn’t able to prove he’s a better prospect when the two of them could have been on the field at the same time.
A bigger concern for Ford long-term is his health. Teams could medically flag Ford after the doctors at the combine wouldn’t allow him to participate due to a back injury he suffered during the 2011 season.
“I feel fine,” Ford told NFL Network. “Everything is fine. It’s what they call a medical precaution that they wanted to go through, and they don’t want to risk anything here. So I had the medical exclusion. It’s very unfortunate. I’m very disappointed. I came to really compete in this combine but, you know, it’s all good. I’m still going to stay here and support my peers.”
And Ford, even though he wasn’t participating, didn’t back off his previous statement about Clowney when he was given the opportunity to do so Monday.
