A state judge in MS has no power to force the NCAA to let him play.

If he’s as good as you say he is why didn’t Kiffin bring him to LSU?

Because we got Leavitt?

Because he would be 3rd string behind Trinidad and Deuce.

You said he couldn't be third because we don't have three. We actually have six at the moment. So try again. Or try harder. Or go play in the street.

I think you've played in the street too many times. But your boy stated he would be third and no, you can't be third when you don't have three. It's simple math. Nobody brought up or cares about your full roster of QBs. That's not what was posted.

But hey, smart arse, answer this.... you have three QBs by name, Chambliss, Deuce and Simmons. In that order for 2026., based on NoColors comment. Chambliss doesn't get another year and is gone. So how can Simmons be third if out of those three It's just him and Deuce?

Watch out for the traffic kid.

Because they’re broken. Great kid. Love his attitude. But he hasn’t shown that he can handle the pressure of being QB1 and that was against the easiest part of our schedule.

He has incredible arm talent though. Just alarming that after two seasons of Kiffin, Weiss, and Judge that he still struggled so much in games.

That’s unsettling…

He thought Misery would provide the best opportunity for him to play in the Gasparilla Bowl

Leavitt

Dude was shitty against the worst defense in the SEC and y’all act like he’s a plug and play all sec QB there’s a reason Kiffin went for multiple other QBs before Leavitt.

Watching him come in cold against Georgia in 2024 and masterfully drive down the field for a touchdown was incredible to watch. We had huge excitement and expectation for him leading into the season. It’s not to say that he wouldn’t have been a great quarterback this year, but it was an easy Decision watching Trinidad come in and efficiently run the offense.

I wouldn’t be too worried. I think he has the potential to be a great quarterback. My honest to god theory is that he has the mind of a relief pitcher(which he was for the baseball team). He can come in cold during an incredibly high pressure situation and perform but he just wasn’t ready to be the starter. They have a very odd mindset.

I may be interested in him as a LHP out of the bullpen. Looked promising as a freshman

If a judge in Miss, doesn't approve the waiver, his house may ge torched.

Memphis tried that with a basketball player a few years back. James Wiseman. Played him after a judge said they could. NCAA made them forfeit the games he played in. He then quit the team and declared for the draft.

MIght not be in Ole Miss' best interest to follow suit.

Trinidad isn’t coming back. Dude is trying to be older than Stetson.

He knows he can’t hack it in the NFL

Did Simmons struggle that bad? He looked good against GA the year before when he came into the game.

Is the suit in state or federal court? Federal judges don't have to worry about elections.

He also handed Texas Tech their only regular season loss. There's a reason he was the #1 player in the portal.

He hasn't been that good and there are rumors his dad is a PITA. It's wild that he started over Chambliss unless Trinidad needed the pressure to fully perform. If Simmons doesn't get hurt OM loses 4 5 games probably.

It looked to be a bad mixture of our offensive line not quite gelling yet and him lacking the experience needed to control the offense presnap. Against Georgia State, he threw two picks panicking under pressure. And another two picks against Kentucky. On the year, he had 5 picks and 5 touchdowns(one of which rushing).

He either needed more coaching, more game time experience, or both. But yeah….he looked like an All-SEC quarterback that one drive against UGA in 2024.
