Why couldn't UGA be original enough to come up with their own logo?

The Green Bay Packers had the "G" logo first in 1961, with the University of Georgia following with a similar design in 1964 after getting permission from the Packers, whose original design was created by student John Gordon for Coach Lombardi. Although Georgia's design was slightly different, the similarity led to a request and approval from the NFL team.

SC definitely has the originality market cornered with a chicken as a mascot.
This is your angle of sick burns you can attack the entire nation on. Except for the banana slugs of some unknown Cali college.

Its official ... people will troll over anything now. Including the frigging logo that Georgia, Grambling, and a ton of high schools all across the country copied.
Good grief.

What’s funny is that’s is probably the least used of all the Georgia logos at the moment. The old school block G and the full body bulldog are everywhere now, including on the basketball court.

I was checking that out and discovered that Auburn stole the War Eagle cry from Georgia. Amazing !
"'War Eagle' as a call to arms was born in the hills of North Georgia, fostered by the Georgia football team of 1912-13, and later adopted by Auburn... While the Auburn adoption cannot be characterized as a plagiarism, as in their hands, it has inspired many a victory for their famous football teams, the cry belongs to Georgia."
Ohhhhhh Damn !!!!
Oh its true !
